In order to upload mesh on the Beta Grid (Aditi), there are a only two steps you need to take!
- Request access to Aditi, or request that your account be re-synced with Aditi.
If you've never ever accessed Aditi, you will need to request access with Support. You can find more information on gaining access to Aditi in our Solutions Center article titled Accessing Aditi. If you have already accessed Aditi, but have made any changes to your account that are not reflected on Aditi (i.e. inventory changes, password changes), you will need to reach out to support to have your account re-synced with the beta grid. Simply submit a support ticket in the same fashion as when you originally requested access to Aditi. - Accept the IP terms.
Before you can upload mesh to Aditi, you must accept the IP terms for Aditi specifically. This is the case even if you have already accepted the IP terms for uploading mesh on the main grid, Agni. The Aditi IP Terms agreement can be found at https://secondlife.aditi.lindenlab.com/my/account/ip/accept.php- Clicking this link will prompt you to log in with your Second Life username and password.
- Once you do, you will be redirected to the IP terms page, where you can click Accept.
- After doing so, you have accepted the IP terms for Aditi. However, you will be again redirected to a page titled Mesh Upload Status that will tell you that you need to add payment information to accept the IP terms. You can ignore this. While you need payment information on file to upload mesh on the main grid, Agni, you do not need to have payment information on file to upload mesh to Aditi. Nothing else is needed from you after clicking Accept.
If you log out and try to accept the IP terms again, you will be directed to a 500 error page. This is because you have already accepted the IP terms for Aditi. Sorry! We're working to fix that error.
You should now be able to upload mesh on Aditi! If you encounter any other issues, please reach out to Support and let us know!
The page says I have not registered and need to add payment information to be able to accept the IP terms. What do I do?
If you have made it to this page, you have already accepted the IP terms and can ignore the notification that you need to add payment information to accept the IP terms. This can be confusing, especially since you do need payment information on file to accept the mesh upload IP terms for Agni; however, you do not need to do so to upload mesh onto Aditi. You can ignore this page completely and log out.
I got a 500 error when I clicked I Accept. What do I do?
If you are seeing a 500 error when clicking I Accept on the Aditi IP terms, this indicates that you have already accepted the terms and should be able to upload mesh on Aditi currently. If you are encountering any other issues when attempting to do so in the viewer, please reach out to support to let us know!
