Have you held a premium membership in the past?

The Premium Membership sign up bonus is only available to new sign ups of either type. If you have held a premium membership at any time in the past, you will be ineligible to receive the sign up bonus again.


Have you held your membership for the required time frame?

When you register for a Monthly, Quarterly, or Annual Premium account, you get a sign-up bonus of L$1,000, deposited directly into your Second Life account once your premium membership has been active for 45 consecutive days.

When you register for a Monthly or Annual Premium Plus account, you get a sign-up bonus of L$3,000, deposited directly into your Second Life account once your premium membership has been active for 45 consecutive days.


Check your Linden$ Transaction History

If you have never held a premium membership in the past and have had your membership for 45 consecutive days (or 24 hours for Annual Premium Plus), yet you believe you have not received your premium membership sign up bonus, please first check your L$ Transaction History on secondlife.com:

  • Log into https://secondlife.com.
  • On the left hand side under your username, click Account.
  • In the menu that drops down, select L$ Transaction History.
  • This page's date range defaults to one day. You will need to adjust this date to include the date that your membership hit 45 consecutive days.
    • Next to the Date Range section, manually type in the date(s) in the format YYYY/MM/DD, or click the calendar icon and select a date. 
    • Click View.
  • In the Filter transaction box, type in Stipend or Linden Grant and click Filter.
  • You should see a deposit from Stipend Linden, with the type labeled Linden Grant.


Please note: Linden$ transaction histories are only available for the previous 3 months for Premium Membership accounts. If you have recently upgraded to premium, your three month history will begin to build from that date onto the 1 month transaction history available to Basic Membership accounts.


I checked my L$ Transaction History and still haven't received my sign up bonus.

If you have checked your L$ Transaction History and do not see that your sign up bonus was received, please submit a support ticket of the type Billing and choose Other Billing Issues from the second dropdown.
